π Parking: Top of Pratt St hill, past Batcheller School
Choose your adventure:
β’ Easy 1-mile walk (about 1 hour) along the historic Trotter Track with beautiful stone wall views
β’ Challenging 2.5-mile hike (about 1.5 hours) through laurel forests to scenic eastern overlooks

Join WLT on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 1:30 PM at Hurlbut Field to learn about our efforts to restore this once-majestic tree at our Chestnut Orchard. Hear from Jack Swatt, President of the CT Chapter of the American Chestnut Foundation, then enjoy apple cider, donuts, and an optional guided walk to Lake Winchester to take in the fall colors.
